Systems Analyst Intermediate

Job Summary:  Responsible for the supervision of junior staff members, reviewing, analyzing, creating, and modifing system analysis and design including build, testing, debugging, understanding integration points and installing program to support the organzation's software applications. Responsible for the review of work flow redesign. Has a solid understanding of regulatory and medical legal ramifications and brings this knowledge to the design of new functionality. Works closely with vendors to assist in enhanced system designs. Works as a consultant to external health systems and other related business opportunities. Responsible for the work of others. Receives general supervision from Director, Program Director or management designate.  Competencies and Skills:  Demonstrates a good understanding of system design, build and work flow redesign.   Demonstrates ability to be detail orientated and ability to do problem solving and thorough problem analysis.   Demonstrates excellent documentation and communication skills.   Demonstrates ability to deal with employee concerns and issues and be able to escalate those issues if necessary.   Demonstrates ability to clearly communicate system design details to other team members.   Demonstrates ability to use experience to help develop accurate project timelines and plans. Education and or Experience:  Bachelor's degreerequired. Master's degreepreferred.   Minimum eight years experience in system design, build and work flow redesign required.   Understanding of the complexities in designing and building integrated Client/Server applications and understanding and recognizing the integration points and pitfalls of this type of design required.  Working Conditions/Physical Demands:  Work is typically performed in an office environment.   OUR PURPOSE & VALUES: Everything we do is about caring for our patients, our members, our students, our Geisinger family and our communities. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
