Join a team of four mid-level providers in an outpatient setting at our main campus in Danville, PA. Our clinic will be expanding to 34 chairs in January where we are engaged with both hematology and oncology patients which includes BMT patients throughout their journey.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performance, under physician responsibility and supervision, of Diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to allow the physicians to extend their knowledge in the sphere of decision making required to establish a diagnosis and to plan the appropriate therapy. Assists in gathering the data necessary to implement the diagnostic and therapeutic plan of the physician. Major roles will include provision of acute episodic care for all practice patients, continuity care, and advocacy for patients, serving as liaison between physicians and patients. These roles, undertaken in cooperation with nursing, staff physicians and other department staff, may include triage, telephone communication and patient education.
Reports clinically to the designated primary physician supervisor(s) and appropriately assigned supervising physician. Reports administratively to the Director, Hematology/Oncology.

GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER: (GMC), located Danville, Pa., the largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital in the region, is licensed for 475 beds, including 89 pediatric beds in the Janet Weis Children?s Hospital. GMC, a Magnet Hospital, maintains the region?s only Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center with additional qualifications in pediatrics. Must possess the degree of professional training to qualify as a physician assistant both professionally and legally to perform all services indicated by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and licensure as described in the policy and procedure manual for utilization of physician assistants within the Geisinger System.
Must have completed an ARC-approved program for physician assistants. Must be eligible to participate in or have completed an approved ACLS program.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
