JOB TITLE: Administrative Project Coordinator
LOCATION: Research Center

WORK TYPE: Full Time 80 hours bi-weekly
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assisting with the development of clinical trial study budgets and contract negotiations. Responsible for the activities to support administrative startup and management of research studies. Responsible for assisting with the administration of departmental and clinical trial management databases.
Works under the direct supervision of the Administrative Research Coordinators and Operations Manager, as well as other Center staff as required.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Demonstrates computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Acrobat, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills related to administration of clinical trial management systems and other databases (e.g. Study Manager, Time Track).
Demonstrates knowledge of clinical research methodology.
Demonstrates knowledge of industry sponsored clinical trial contracts and budgets.
Demonstrates knowledge of clinical trial billing system.
Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare analysis.
Demonstrates excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills. Demonstrates ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff, external sponsors, and research subjects.
Demonstrates a high regard for confidentiality.
Demonstrates ability to work well in team atmosphere and maintain a good working relationship with all staff across departments and company lines.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree with minimum three years experience required.
OR
Bachelor?s degree in business or health care related field with one year experience required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is typically performed in an office environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
