Assistant Product Manager

Assess local market needs, contribute to product innovation, and analyze market fit to brand team; implement and execute market-specific products or changes as necessary
Collaborate with brand team to ensure market alignment of portfolio pricing and product-market fit
Communicate product availability to sales teams; participates in promotional and marketing strategies within market
Create relationships with dispensary employees and patients and/or consumers to understand product needs, issues, and product education
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Responsibilities - PACKAGING
Manages market implementation of new product rollout, packaging changes, etc.
Fosters a strong relationship with State regulators; registers products and ensures packaging meets all requirements

Monitors product quality and packaged goods according to brand standards and product specifications
Acts as key liaison with production and sales teams to communicate product timelines according to production and packaging lead times
Offers initial product forecasts by product and market for supply and packaging implementation
Bachelors Degree in Retail Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
Minimum one year of retail buying or assistant buying in retail or manufacturing environment
Advanced skills in data analytics, competitive analysis, product management and project management
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite of tools including Excel and PowerPoint
Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness
Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment
Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally
Possesses a high level of critical thinking
Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of GTI
Must have a solid understanding of the Medical Marijuana laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state and the D.O.A.; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws is appreciated and commendable

Must pass any and all required background checks
Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Must possess valid driver's license
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
Must be approved by the D.O.A. to receive an Agent badge

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
