Job Summary Geisinger, a national leader in healthcare innovation and technology, is seeking a BC/BE Critical Care trained physician for an exciting opportunity. The physician will work 75% of the time at Evangelical Hospital and 25% of the time at Geisinger Medical Center, in Pennsylvania. Job Duties Work from 7am-7pm in a 12-bed ICU at Evangelical 75% of the time Work a mix of 12-hour shifts in Geisinger Medical Center's 24-bed ICU 25% of the time Procedures include central line placement, arterial lines (upper & lower extremity), endotracheal intubation, chest tubes, thoracentesis, paracentesis, bronchoscopy, ultrasound and dialysis catheterization Competitive compensation package, incredible benefits and generous retirement Position Details GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER (GMC), located in Danville, PA, the largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital in the region, is licensed for 475 beds, including 89 pediatric beds in the Janet Weis Children's Hospital. GMC, a Magnet Hospital, maintains the region's only Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center with additional qualifications in pediatrics. GMC offers an array of highly specialized medical and surgical services, including neurosciences, cardiovascular services, transplantation, women's health (in the Women's Pavilion), oncology and orthopaedics. The Hospital for Advanced Medicine serves as an integrated center for the most critical patients. Outpatient services are available on and off campus.
