Leads and manages the Market Research and Product Development staff to research, develop strategy and design healthcare products, programs and services for the commercial and government programs markets. Identifies and investigates emerging new opportunities within all market segments. Works to support the design, development and testing of select new products, programs and services. Helps formulate business plans to develop and implement new products, programs, and services. Creatively solves design, financial, marketing or administrative problems. Assists in transforming the strategic plan, mission, and vision into marketable products, programs and services. Supervises the data collection and analysis of customer needs/reaction to products and services to assist in strategic development. Provides management with sound market assessment data for planning new business opportunities and development, revitalizing old products, and integrating products and services. Provides oversight for the department in accepting project assignments, managing various market research assignments and presenting project results. Job Duties Provides leadership in the market research, design, development, testing, and implementation of select new products, programs, and services. Develops and executes project work plans and revises appropriately to meet changing needs and requirements. Works to implement business plans, creatively solving product design, financial, marketing, operational, contractual and administrative problems. Identifies resources needed, assigns individual responsibilities, and holds regular status meetings with project team to ensure timely completion of tasks. Communicates relevant project information to team and administration. Resolves and escalates issues in a timely manner. Provides leadership in meeting project schedules and objectives. Identifies vendor solutions and directs the selection, implementation, and management of vendors relevant to the Market Research function.Ensure vendor solutions are delivered on time and in budget. Creates and coordinates an appropriately sized team to meet all emerging opportunities. Communicates progress with sponsors. Forecasts potential roadblocks and answers questions as needed. Fosters quality customer service to internal and external clients and utilizes leadership skills to increase efficiency of successful project implementation. Facilitates leadership of strategic planning as it relates to new business opportunities. Ensures that project initiatives align with the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Develops staff capabilities to ensure team skills evolve to meet business needs. Work is typically performed in an office environment. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
